Joanna Kadi is a writer, poet, and musician. She studies Arabic, West African and Afro-Cuban drumming, and regularly performs. She is the author of Thinking Class: Sketches from a Cultural Worker (South End Press, 1996) and the editor of Food for Our Grandmothers: Writings by Arab-American and Arab-Canadian Feminists (South End Press, 1994.)
