In her work, she explores the themes of violent conflict, self-discovery, feminism, maternal appreciation, female oppression and the creation of peace while attempting to redefine herself as Palestinian-American. She continues to dedicate her art to the purpose of supporting and advocating peace, compassion and positive social change within her various socio-political communities and beyond.
