sunny yoon was born in seoul, south korea, where she resided until the age of 9 when she emigrated to the los angeles area. she holds a bachelors in anthropology and a masters in linguistics with an emphasis on sociocultural identity. she has held a wide variety of jobs from teaching buddhist monks english to doing political research and writing. she has academically and personally navigated issues of liminality/hybridity and identity for a number of years. |
